Dr. Evans grew up in Summersville where she graduated from Nicholas County High School in 1977. She attended medical school at Marshall University School of Medicine and then completed an OB-GYN residency at CAMC in Charleston.

In 1992 Dr. Evans returned to Summersville to practice medicine and has had an office in Summersville for 14 years. In the past 2 years Dr. Evans has concentrated her practice on gynecology.

Dr. Evans was listed as one of America’s top obstetricians and gynecologists for 2004-2005 by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.
