OR Department

The Surgical Services Department at SMH has many services available to our patients/clients. We offer ophthalmology, orthopedics, gynecology, obstetrics, general surgery, endoscopies, and lesser amounts of vascular, urology, and dental/maxillofacial surgery.
Our same day ambulatory surgery offers convenient, efficient, and competent care by professional staff that really care about their patients and take pride in what they do.
With many procedures patients are in and out of our ambulatory surgery area in six hours or less. However; if the situation warrants, extended care can be given to provide continuum of excellent care to meet individual patient needs.
Assigned staff is on call 24/7 to meet the needs of patients, the community, and our hospital.
