From the CFO

Dora Douglas is the Chief Financial Officer for Summersville Memorial Hospital and the second in command after the CEO. She has an extensive background in hospital accounting and finance with more than 20 years experience. Besides being a CPA with a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration she is also a member of the College of Hospital Executives.

Although Dora has a history from a larger hospital she will tell you that every facility has its challenges and smaller rural hospitals can be just as challenging as larger, urban facilities. She likes a challenge.

Along with being the second on the administrative team she also oversees several departments within the hospital as well as physician contracts and issues.
