As CEO of Summersville Memorial Hospital I welcome you to our web site.
Summersville Memorial Hospital values the loyalty and trust of our community. We strive to provide "Care for Life." The ability to seek preventative and acute medical care close to home is essential for a healthy and growing community. SMH prides ourselves in the ability to offer a wide range of primary care services by friends and neighbors who have a vested interest in the success of the organization. There are few small rural hospitals left in the state which are locally owned and operated and SMH is
proud to have the community support to remain in this number. SMH is currently in a very exciting stage of growth. We have recently added over 120 parking spaces to better accommodate our patients. We are in the finishing phase of adding a fixed MRI to the campus which will allow state of the art imagery. In the spring of 2008 we will begin an expansion project to add a new ICU, expand our emergency department and two additional, private labor,delivery and post partum rooms. Our goal is to provide an easily accessible, modern facility with skilled staff and cutting edge technology. SMH is dedicated to meeting your primary healthcare needs and appreciate your trust.


BIO
Deborah Hill, CEO of Summersville Memorial is a West Virginia native with
long standing Nicholas County roots. She received an associate degree in
nursing and a bachelors degree in Health Service Administration from WV
Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in Health Service Management from the WV College of Graduate Studies. She is a registered professional nurse and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Deborah won the Athena Award for supporting Women in Business in 2005 and the 2005 Outstanding Business Leader of the Year for the Summersville Chamber of Commerce. She also received the Regent's Award for Early Career Achievement from the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2006
